The Line 6 DT50 Amp

The world of amplifiers recently got an upgrade with the new Line 6 DT50 model. This model represents a collaboration between Reinhold Bogner’s EL34 tube power section and Line 6’s HD amp modeling and LINK technology. The DT50 has two channels that you can switch among four voice amp voicings based on the common voicings of classic American cleans, chimey and crunchy British tones and modern high-gain distortion: Class A, Class A/B, Pentode and Triode. This amp integrates analog and digital so that it is distinctive and responsive.

The DT50 can manipulate the analog components to configure with the HD modeling technology to create the effects of its available voicing. For instance, the HD will arrange the preamp and tone stack for a gleaming, classic clean tone that is reinforced by a high amount of negative feedback in the analog components to create the classic American voicing.

The front panel access lets you easily create individualized tones with the Class A/ClassAB and Pentode/Triode switches. In fact the amp is designed to be very easy to use with one-touch reconfiguration capabilities with the channel switch. This amp is especially ideal if you need a simple but effective amp with a straightforward and streamlined layout.
