The Left Handed Guitar Search – Part 2
Welcome back left handers, this is part two of the left handed electric guitars series that I started yesterday. Today we will look at a few more brands and models of left handed guitars to give you guys even more of a pool of guitars to choose from the next time you decide to go out and spend some money on a guitar.
So let’s just continue on where we left off, shall we?
Ibanez
Ibanez has quite a number of different models of left handed guitars available. All of these of course are for the soul purpose of playing rock. There are the basic models and even some signature series guitars available for you guys. Check these out:
- Ibanez GRX20L Left-Handed Electric Guitar – excellent affordable guitar with dual humbuckers and a speedy guitar neck to get oyu really blazing on the strings.
- Ibanez ART100L Artist Left-Handed Electric Guitar – with a set in ART neck and mahogany body, this Les Paul style guitar is classic. This is an excellent guitar…a friend of mine plays Artists and swears by them.
- Ibanez GAX70L Left-Handed Electric Guitar – want a double cutaway style with Full Tune II bridge and a rosewood fingerboard? Here it is! This thing is warm sounding and really sings.

ESP
More rocker style guitars here — played by the likes of Kirk Hammett and George Lynch too! Personally, I’ve never even played an ESP guitar before. Never had the chance, but I’ve always heard great things from people and the guitars themselves. I’ve heard that ESP guitars have a warranty for a lifetime as well!
- ESP LTD KH-202 Left-Handed Kirk Hammett Signature Series Electric Guitar – play the same guitar as Hammett and still be left handed. Maple neck, basswood body and a skull/crossbones inlay to make it really metal. Comes with ESP LH-301 humbucker pickups as well.
- ESP LTD EX-50 Left Handed Electric Guitar – if pointy is more your style, this should be the one you check out. Like Kirk’s, it’s got the basswood body and maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Fixed bridge and ESP LH150 pickups.
- Esp Ltd EC1000 Quilt Top See Thru Black Cherry Left Handed Electric Guitar – I really like the finish on this one. It’s got a set neck, Schaller locking tuners, quilted maple top on a mahogany body and Earvana nut. Comes equipped with EMG’s as well.

Epiphone
We’ve all heard of good ol’ Epiphone…a brand from Gibson Guitars. Epiphone has some excellent solid body and semi hollow body electrics in left handed models to look into. There’s really no limit here to what you can get and they go to prove that even leftys are not left out in the cold when it somes to guiitar choices.
- Epiphone Sheraton II Left-Handed Electric Guitar – vintage sunburst has to be my favorite finish on these. Comes with gold hardware, a lifetime warranty, tune-o-matic bridge and the Sheraton’s signature arched back and sides. You’ll love this semi-hollow.
- Epiphone Left-Handed Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar – with a mahogany neck and maple top, this is just like all the other Epiphone Les Pauls you can find. Rosewood fingerboard, ebony finish and a set neck joint.
- Epiphone G400 SG Left Handed Electric Guitar – want to be like a left handed Angus Young but can’t afford the real Gibson. This is the next best thing! Dual humbuckers, mahogany neck and body with a fingerboard of rosewood. Comes with a tune-o-matic bridge as well.

You gotta love humbuckers. You get both benefits, from being in the exact middle of the single coils and humbuckers. And they sounds so soft. Great Blog, I will be forwarding this. Also, is there any forum you?d recommend me to join on this topic?
