NGD#2 – 2006 Fender Custom Shop “Custom Classic”
Take a look at this beautiful piece submitted by a great guy that goes by the handle of Great Dane. This guitar actually reminds me of my American Deluxe Strat only this one is so much nicer! Just see what he has to say about it:
I hope the Gibson’s don’t pick on her too much. I took this in on a trade and couldn’t be happier. It’s a 2006 Custom Shop “Custom Classic” with a highly figured maple neck (with a very comfortable slightly V shaped neck and perfectly rounded frets) and a gorgeous burst finish over a classy slab. I’m guessing it’s alder, but have no idea.
I played it for almost three hours last night and still haven’t plugged it in yet! It resonates wonderfully and is very loud. This is my first Custom Shop strat (and only the second strat in my guitar “heap”), but I’m thinking it may not be my last. I hope you enjoy!
