Being a kind of steampunk lover kind of drew me in on this one too! Custom Graphic Designed by Renowned Artist Stephen Jensen.
There is a new addition to the Optek Music Systems family and that is the new Fretlight FG-411 Basic.
This is an excellent addition to the FG-421 Standard, the FG-431/441 Vintage and the FG-451 Pro models that are already helping new guitarists get to know the fretboard.
Looking at the guitar news that came through the pipes today, I was brought to an amp company that I admit that I never actually heard of before – Fargen Amplification. However, after checking out their product line, especially the brand new Fargen AC Duo-Tone, I have to say that these amps are something that I definitely have on my lidt of amps to try. Music has been around since people discovered that inanimate objects could make noise that was appealing to the ears, a beat that could go along with ritual and social gatherings. Than was a long, long time ago and today, music has such an effect on people that almost anyone will tell that it is the sound of music that evokes emotions in them more than anything else. Of course, music has evolved a lot since its beginnings. New instruments have been introduced, new ways of making music and it gets more and more innovative every day! However, there is one musical sound that came onto the scene in the last century that has been evolving ever since and that is the sound of the rock guitar. If you want to start playing a guitar, an acoustic electric guitar may be a great starting point. If you are just a beginner you will get more satisfaction out of being able to get the sound out of your guitar. When you are first starting out it takes awhile for your fingers to build up calluses on a traditional acoustic guitar. The body of the guitar has a pick guard it should sit on the bottom of the guitar when you strum the strings, if you are left handed you need to make sure to get a guitar that has the pick guard on the bottom when you strum. … continue reading ⇒
