Why You Should Consider Soft Guitar Cases
There are two main styles of guitar case to choose from, soft and hard. Both of these have advantages, depending on what you use your guitar for. A soft guitar case is generally more flexible, but a hard case will offer the most protection. Both soft and hard guitar cases perform the same basic functions for your guitar. Both cases are going to protect your guitar for dust, dirt and light scratches.
A soft guitar case if pretty light and therefore very mobile. This is really handy if you plan on carrying your guitar around, to gigs and so on. For this reason, the soft guitar case is often referred to as a gig bag. They normally also have pockets in them for storing essentials, such as spare strings, straps and picks.
